About Me

My name is Jowal Quitl, I’m a photographer, videographer and content creator based in Los Angeles. I grew up with a fascination for film and photography, which led me to pursue a B.A. in Film and Digital Media, from the University of California, Santa Cruz. My interest in the visual arts have taught me that composition and framing is key, which is why they are the guiding principles in my work. Over the last few years, I have also accumulated a diverse background in photography, which includes, portraits, wedding, and street photography. My work is currently on display at Espacio 1839, a prominent art space and gallery within the city of Boyle Heights and has been featured on notable social media blogs such as CONQUER_LA. I bring the same combination of enthusiasm, creativity and skill into all the projects I am involved in.
